Hi Friends,

I have to export all the tickets  of a project from one jira account to another jira account. Here all those tickets are created in a next generation software project, and planning to move another jira account of classic software project.

Another Bottle neck is like i dont have admin access for the next generation project. Please help me out, how to transfer those tickets from one account to another account.

Thanks

well it depends on a number of other details TBH. Here are my initial thoughts...

  • you could use an addon to assist (check the Marketplace)
  • export issues to csv, massage as needed and import to the new instance/project. you might find it easier to move all NG issues to a Classic project in the current instance first and then export/import

you mention you do not have admin access to the current project but I assume the current admin/owner is aware of the plan to move these issues? Note that if you use the export/import method then in reality you are not moving, rather you are simply creating copies. You don't need admin rights to create a JQL for the project that would then be used to export.
