How to escalate a ticket on the Jira Platform project itself?

Steve Harris

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-98324

This ticket has been raised a while ago due to an issue affecting people using the Jira Cloud platform. The ticket has still not been assigned.

What needs to be done to get this issue escalated for someone to review it at least and provide some feedback?

There are some very frustrated users, myself included, who need to have this resolved.

Some are threatening to leave the product due this issue.

Hi @Steve Harris

Tickets on that platform can only be voted or watched or you could leave a comment.

Atlassian decides the roadmap on tacking these issues into account or not, there is not defined timeline for this.

There is no option to escalate this nor to speed this up.

Ticket is deemed as a bug, but a minor one, so I suspect higher prio will be tackled before this.

Side-note, if they want to leave the product that is there choice (in my opinion).

Thank you Marc,

The problem is the ticket has been assigned as a minor one automatically, most people would want to make it much higher but can't and if no-one reviews it it will stay minor. We have left comments and put watches on the ticket but if we knew what the criteria was for the numbers we need to reach then at least we would have an idea when a review is likely.

BTW I don't think your side-note is very helpful. I put it there to show the level to which this issue affects people's working practices - i.e it is NOT a MINOR bug!
