I have a very long table.  I'd like to enable the table filter in it, but can't figure out how?  If I put the cursor at the top of the table before all of the columns start, it adds the filter, but it does not apply to my table.  If I put in the cursor in one of the column headers and add the filter, it only shows up in that column.  I'm not really sure about the mechanics of how to add it?

Hi @Brad Van Orden ,

You can read how to add the Table Filter macro in our documentation. You may also book a live demo from our team where you'll be able to ask your questions.

If the question is how to apply the "Filter the whole table" option, then the first step is to add the Table Filter macro on the page (insert it from the Page View mode or wrap your table in the Table Filter macro directly in the page Edit mode) and then choose this option from the available filter types:

It's the "wrap your table in the Table Filter macro directly in the page Edit mode" that I am having difficulty with.  I highlighted the entire table then selected to add the filter macro.  That did not work.  I'm just getting the mechanics wrong.  I did look at your documentation and can not find the answer.  Sorry.

Insert the macro on the page at first (like you do with other macros, for example, Expand macro and so on).

Then copy your table to the clipboard (if your tags are correct and you are on Server/Data Center, you'll have a special button for it):

Then place the mouse cursor inside the Table Filter macro and paste the table.
