I want to add field to the cards of existing JIRA board. It is a role "Tested by".
I managed to add it by going to "Configure the board" -> "Issue detail view" but after that there is no way to edit the field.
Maybe somebody knows what I am missing?

In order to edit the field, you need to add the field to the related edit screen.
