How to edit e-mail template?

I would like to add to e-mail that is send automatically from Jira when generic even is fired and additional information the priority of issue.
In order to do that I assume that I need to edit the e-mail templet. How to do that via Jira 4.4 interface?

Here's the information on editing email templates - http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Customising+Email+Content Unfortunately you cannot do it via the interface at the moment, but it is an open feature request - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-7266
