How to duplicate a workspace in Jira? Same as duplicating project? How to duplicate issue types?

I just need a quick way without having to download a plug-in on how to duplicate a workspace.  I also want to know how to leverage the exact same custom issue type in this new workspace I'm trying to create.

Nothing at all is intuitive here.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When you create the new space one of the options when you create a company managed project is that you can share settings with an existing project. This will share all the settings with the existing project, except adding users to the new project or creating the boards.

If you are using a team managed project then you cannot copy the settings in it over to a new space. TMPs should be seen as its own island without access to the outside world.
