How to do jira automation to convert jira custom field from text field to single choice in cloud

I want to change the Jira custom field from text free to single choice. We don't have the Scriptrunner so need help how to do it on Jira automation.

You can't in Jira or scriptrunner, so there's no API for Script Runner to call to in order to change it.

You can only create a new field and then based on the text input and created related options in the new single select field make bulk changes on the related issues.
