How to display a new workflow status button on Issue screen?

HI, I have created a new work flow status e.g. 'Closed' in addition to existing ones like 'To Do', 'In Progress', 'Done'

The problem I have now is I cannot create a new button on the View Issue screen in addition to existing ones 'To Do', 'In Progress', 'Done'. Is there a way to do it on JIRA cloud instance?

You need to add a step (associated to the closed status) in you workflow. See

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Workflow

Then add transitions to this new step. Once you have published the new workflow you should be able to see the new workflow buttons (always depending on the current status).
