Hey @Siva Kedari Veerla 👋
Good question! At the moment, Jira Cloud doesn’t give us a way to delete automation rules in bulk, either through the UI or the API. You can only remove them one by one in the interface.
The public Automation Rule Management API is helpful for listing rules, creating new ones, updating, and even enabling or disabling them, but it doesn’t include a delete option yet. If you’re on Jira Data Center and using the old JSM automation engine, there is a delete endpoint for those legacy rules, but that doesn’t apply to Jira Cloud.
If you want to clean things up faster, the best workaround is to disable rules in bulk using the API and then delete them manually in the UI. Some admins also use marketplace tools like Salto for mass management. And if this is something you really need, you can vote for the feature request that covers adding delete functionality to the API—it’s called AUTO-51.

Hope this helps! 😊
To delete unused automation rules in bulk, head to your platform’s automation page and look for a “group actions,” “batch delete,” or multi-select feature. Select the rules you want gone, choose delete, and confirm—done in a snap! If your tool doesn’t support bulk actions, reaching out for feature requests or using their support forums might unlock a workaround. @Siva Kedari Veerla
