How to delete a resolution?

Hi, everyone!

Several years ago we created our own (custom) resolutions.
Now we want to delete it. But there is a problem.
We deleted custom resolutions in Admin -> Issue Attributes -> Resolutions. In all issues with custom resolutions we replaced it by system resolutions. But after several hours custom resolutions appear again.

How can we delete resolutions so that they no longer appear?

Yes, we tried to figure out how post functions affect resolutions.
We conducted several tests. As a result, we concluded that post functions do not create a resolutions.

Maybe you have any suggestions how we can check theory: "Are post functions affect resolutions or not"?
