Hi there, we are using Jira, but we need different columns per type of projects. Is there any way we can set up 3 specific templates of columns that we can use for our various projects?
Hello Joost,
what do you mean by columns? On a Kanban board?
Yes, exactly! Instead of 'To do, doing, done', I know I can change these columns, but it's annoying if we have to do this over and over. Is there any way to standardize this?

You can create Project templates in Jira and on creation use the option "create using a shared configuration". But by default, it does not copy the board, the board, you will, unfortunately, have to do them manually.
there is this app that might help : https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211949/gaia-for-jira-project-template-manager?hosting=server&tab=reviews

@robert Mugabuhamye thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this still doesn't work. Isn't there any way we can just copy the Kanban settings onto a new board? It's a basic functionality that every PM tool out there has.
