Hello Peers,
I am importing 700+ issues from one Cloud instance (A) to another Cloud instance (B) using the External System Import.
None of the users from Instance A exist in Instance B. Which one of the below options are the best ?
OPTION A:
Should I create all the users (10+) in Instance B before doing the CSV import ? If I do that then should I update the Assignee ID, Reporter ID and Creator ID in the CSV export file ?
Below is a snapshot of the export from Instance A.
OPTION B:
If I do not create the users beforehand, should I leave the Assignee ID, Reporter ID and Creator ID blank in the CSV file before doing the import so that the importer can create these usernames. Will the importer use the full names given in the Assignee and or Reporter Column to create those user names ?
ERROR: I tried Option B and the users were imported but the log says
"5 users associated with import. All of them imported as inactive, this can be changed after import in User Access step.
0 users successfully created."
