How to create level between story and sub-task (e.g. sub-story)

Hi Guys,

In the classic project can I create a new issue type called sub-story and have the hierarchy as Epic > Story > Sub-Story > Sub-Task?

Hi Saud, welcome to the community. While you can certainly create a new issuetype you cannot have any new hierarchy associated with it.

Thank you Jack! I believe this would be a very useful flexibility as a feature. Is there a plan for this to be added?

I cannot say. I do not work for Atlassian. There are solutions in the atlassian product line - Portfolio, Align.
