×Hello community,
I am a bit puzzled with one thingy I am trying to implement. Perhaps you will help me here. I need to create an automation for service desk project so that it would automatically create "almost a clone" of an original issue two weeks after original issue is created.
- I was considering that the only trigger I can use is "Scheduled" job run. As otherwise I cannot get any other trigger. Am I wrong here?
- Another perspective is that even if I use "Scheduled" option as a trigger, how can I set-up condition that automation needs to create/clone original issue? I was thinking to set it up so automation would validate if there are any linked issues attached to original, it wouldn't create, but it wouldn't be a correct way of thinking. As there might be manual issue linkage happening in the meantime.
Any thoughts how to resolve this complex task or perhaps it is not that complicated but I am just in my own "hamster wheel". :)
Hey Simas,
Take a look at this article I wrote earlier this year. Please give it a like if you find it helpful.
