How to create an entities.xml from an export?

Hello!

I am attempting to migrate a jira project from Jira 4.3.2 into the latest jira version. I did the project export from the administrator page, but it did not create an entities.xml or an activeobjects.xml file, just a single xml file with all the details within it. 

Is there a way to format the xml file to be accepted, or another method for the system to produce the two files separately in Jira 4.3.2 so that the new system will accept it?

This project is just for archive purposes only - we want to keep the search functionality of jira to work just to reference the data in case we have similar problems arise in the future, so no new information is going to be entered into this project.

I was able to export the entire project and all it's details into a CSV and just cleaned up some of the data (This was a project done in French and the import tool wasn't too happy with accented characters and the date format) and it processed over 6 hours.
