Is there an easy and simple way to create a recurring task in Jira but limited to 30 times only? (as an example: end after X number of times)
Yes; I can think of at least 3 ways to do that:
Kind regards,
Bill
Hi @Bill Sheboy
Thanks for your help.
How to execute "#3. create an automation rule, such as on a schedule, which halts after adding what is needed". I've found some information on automation but not found how to configure to stop after adding the task 30 times for example.
kind regards,
Adriana

To create your stopping condition you need some criteria, such as date/time or count.
For example, if you wanted to do this by date/time, as scheduled trigger could be used to only run for a certain amount of time and then stop (such as using a condition).
For count, you need some way to indicate the count in the issue with a field (or project with entity properties). Then use JQL to detect when there are still more issues to create.
