How to create a project

How do I create a new project?

Go to the project menu in the menu bar and click "create project".

You do need to be an admin to do this (or enabled to create team-managed projects if you are on Cloud rather than Server)

Hi @Christopher Hearn ,

you should be a Jira administrator (i.e. someone with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission), if you want to set up a new project in Jira Software. Many of the tasks involved can only be performed by a JIRA administrator, such as creating a project, modifying a workflow, etc.
