How to copy differentl versions from linked issues into single fix version field in another issue

Hey all, 

I have two issue types initiatives and features. Features roll up into initiatives. Each feature will be assigned a single version and will be linked to an initiative. I want to automatically copy the different versions from the linked features into the fix version field in the initiative issue. Any ideas how I can accomplish this?
