How to copy a field value from a TRANSITION SCREEN to a newly created issue via workflow post functi

Hi Everyone, 

Suppose I have a workflow post-function that will create a new issue, how do I set it such that it will copy one of the field values from a transition screen onto the new issue, such as using JWME?

I would recommend you achieve this via Automation. Have you considered this?

I don't think Automation allows sync between subtasks.  A relationship must be defined, and unless we create some types of custom link between the subtasks, there is no direct one that can be selected. 

One way was using SIMILAR description, but that is not guarantee, especially if either Summary or Description are too vary between 2 subtasks.
