I have a project in Next gen and issue get transferred to other projects that are classic. Several custom fields I have in Next Gen are not in classic. I dont seem to be able to create them in classic. When I move the issue form Next Gen to Classic it clears those fields. I need to be able to have the classic projects to Next Gen so I have access to those custom fields.
Have you searched the Custom Fields list to see if they are there under Settings > Issues > Custom Fields?
If so, you should be able to click on the 3 dot menu and then select Contexts and default values.
Then click on Edit Configuration
Then add your project to the context. Be sure to hold down the CTRL key when you select the Classic Project so that you don't lose the Next-gen project.
