How to control anonymous user access in Jira Cloud?

Hi Community,

I want to setup restriction for anonymous users so that they can't access any projects, dashboards, filters, etc.

For reference, I looked for the below documents:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/control-anonymous-user-access-975034642.html

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-control-anonymous-user-access-in-a-public-jira-server-or-data-center-instance-975031479.html

But these are related to Jira Server and Data center.

Please guide, where I can set restrictions for anonymous users/ public users in Jira Software (Cloud) and it will be a great help if you can share any useful document and/ or steps to setup the same in Cloud.

Thanks

Hey Digvijay,

In Jira Cloud, anonymous access can be granted only by sharing the required project permissions with Public (open to anyone on the internet).

As long as the permissions are not set to Public, anonymous users won't be able to access the issues on your site.

You may review the details here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/allow-anonymous-access-to-projects/

Hi @Karan Sachdev

Thank you for your message. It helped.

I would also like to ask that how we can prevent data export for anonymous users in Jira Cloud? Where should I setup the same in Cloud? Any document will be helpful.
