Hi guys,
Maybe this is a bit silly question for some of you, but i have already spent quite a lot of time and didnt figure out how to solve it.
I have few projects and few users in my Jira. Groups i am using default: jira-users, jira-developers, ...
If i want user to be able to login than i have to assign him to jira-users group, but than such user is able to see ALL defined projects, which is not allowed. I want to assigned users per project. So user who belongs to project is able to perform actions according to his role in a project (developer, tester, ....) but i dont want him to see other projects.
How can I achieve this ? Any ideas ?
Thanks and regards,
Albert
Use project roles in the permission scheme and different users/groups to the roles in individual projects.

Hello,
I am a bit confused. I am trying to create an environemt where projects are assigned to certain customers. In other words, when a customer logs I want them to see only their projects.
Is that possible?
PS I am using JIRA 6
Thanks

George,
What you have is a question. Not an answer. So I converted it to a comment. You can create it as a new question if you would like.
Yes it is possible. You need to use project roles and set permission schemes accordingly. Refer to the links provided by Jobin
