Hello,

Welcome to community :)

To change your authenticator app for Jira, log into your Atlassian account, go to your profile, find Two-step verification, unlock settings, and then manage the Authentication app, where you can disable the old one and set up the new app by scanning a QR code and saving backup codes. This process effectively links your new authenticator  disabling the previous connection

Please find more details here : https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-two-step-verification-for-your-atlassian-account/

Thank you,

Prachi

Hi @Subhajit Ghosh ,

Assuming your account is un-managed (and unclaimed by an organization), you should be able to adjust your 2FA or authentication settings by visiting your Account Settings. You can get here via https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile.

Here's a help article from Atlassian that has more in-depth instructions: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-two-step-verification-for-your-atlassian-account/

Cheers,

Robert

Hello @Subhajit Ghosh

The references provided by @Robert DaSilva are for Atlassian Cloud accounts. The tags on your post say "data center" . Does this concern an account for logging into a data center instance or a Cloud instance?

Was the login provided to you by an organization or did you register the account yourself?
