How to change fields on right-hand column of issue

I'm having a lot of trouble with the new Jira issue view. I'm trying my best to go along with it and learn this new way.

For starters, I can't figure out how to change the fields that show up on the right-hand column of an issue.

Furthermore, I'm wanting to change the set of fields here because I want Priority to show up. Right now I can't change the Priority of an issue. It's so easy in the Old View, but nowhere to be found in the New View.

In the new Issue view (I think you are referring to this one), you can not change placement of fields

I am not sure if it is a permanent thing or not. But right now it is like this :)

Is that a permanent thing? Not only is it missing fields I'd like to have, but it also has fields I don't use.

So is there no way to change the Priority of an issue now? What about custom fields? I guess I'm just missing the context for why Jira is going in this direction.
