How to change a Project Type

I am a Site Admin.  I want to change a project type from Software to Ops.  The Atlassian documentation says Go to Settings (top right corner).  There is no Settings link in the top right corner.  I have gotten into Settings a different way (... to the right of the Project Name) but the Details page that appears only lets me edit Name, Key, and Access.

Hello,

I guess, you have a next-gen project and you want to change it to ops. If so, you can not do it via the detail page. Only classic projects can change the project type this way.

You should create a new ops project and migrate all issues from old project to the new one.

You should use the bulk move feature to move issues:
