How to change Workflow Status from "Open" to "Close"?

Hello All, brand new to Jira,

When the issue was resolved, how can I close it?

• Type: Bug
• Status: Open (View workflow) ==> need to change to close
  
• Priority: Highest
• Resolution: Unresolved ==> need to set to resolved
  

Any help is really appreciated.

1.  I don't have access to  view your work-flow.  
2.  Suppose you  have a simple work-flow  open  ->  in-progress  ->  close
3. Each arrow is a transition so  in the second arrow( this transition could be named close issue)  and you need to  click  on it.  and if a resolution screen is  added to  this transition you  can choose resolution value status and  ticket can be close.
4. So  click  view workflow and see series of steps  you need to  perform to  go  to  close status.

Open your ticket and click the View Workflow link:

Then you will see the workflow of the ticket. Kindly make sure that the Closed status exists.  If it exists, then you will see the name of the transition, which leads to the status. You have to find these transition in the button panel and click the button.
