How to automatically create Confluence Space for a project during project creation?

We want to automatically create a Confluence Space for a project during project creation. So that it is not required to create the space manually.

I have found a script for Jira server in below reference. However, we are using Jira Cloud.

How can the script be converted to be applicable to Jira Cloud?
