How to auto-assign KanBan tasks to creator

Most users create their own tasks.  We would like to save a few clicks on task creation and have tasks set to "Auto Assign" assign to the user who created the task.   How is this accomplished?

@Tim Schoeller, welcome to the Community. To do this you can add a post function to the create transition to set Assignee to the reporter. To do this navigate to your project > project settings > workflows and edit the workflow associated with the issuetype of interest (diagram mode). Double click the create transition click on Post functions and add the post function.

If understood well, you need to change your workflow associated to task and at the CREATE transition add a postfunction "Assigne to the reporter"
