Our test solution is in C# using Selenium and we use Visual Studio as our IDE. The tests are associated to test cases in TFS and the status is updated accordingly after runs. Also, we have also used Test Category to identify tests to be run as BVT's during build/release management.
Off late, we have started using Jira for Test case management and have integrated our C# solution to Jenkins to run the test jobs.
It will be helpful if anyone can please suggest how to link/associate a test case in Jira/Zephyr to individual test automation method in Visual Studio(C# using Selenium) so that the Jenkins job updates the status of each test case in Jira.
I have found suggestions in the below link but it would greatly help if anyone can please provide details.
