How to assign the just created workflow for the project

Елена Лу September 10, 2020

I've created the new workflow with the new workflow  schema, but couldn't  assign them  to our  project:

  • no section Workflows in the Project settings  slidebar;
  • no  ability  to assign  schema to the current  project  in the list  of the workflow (right now all workflows are in the "not  active" status).

Could you please help with this?

Are you using a next-gen or classic project?  (Next-gen projects do not use workflow schemes)

Hello  Nick, in this case could you please advise,  how add a new statuses of the issues?  for example we need 2 additional statuses "Ready for test" and "Tested" for our QA.

Go to the board and add columns for them.

Have you already created a workflow scheme to gather all the workflows in your project ?

If your workflow is listed as inactive it is because it is not linked to a workflow scheme associated to a project.

First, create a workflow scheme to associate your workflows to the correct issues.

Then, you can associate the workflow scheme in the project settings section of the project. If you can find the tab, you also have the possibility to click on project settings of your project --> summary and then associate a workflow scheme.

Once you do this, your workflow should change to "active" status.

Hello Flavien,

Yes, I've created schema and assign my  workflow to it, but  unfortunately there is  no  inlay "Workflows" in the  Project  settings:

Next-gen projects don't use workflows like that.
