Apologies for my ignorance, (very) new to Jira...
I have created some project areas and am adding in tasks in, I can add in different fields to this task e.g. Due date.
Question: how do I add the fields to a template so every task has these fields showing

Fields are added to screens that are linked to the project. So you can go to Project Settings then Summary then click on the Screen Scheme for that project.
Then click on the screen name (don't click Edit). Once you arrive at the list of fields, then add the Due date at the bottom of the list.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
