Hello dear jira users, could you please advise how is it possible to add operation type and associate it with the relevant screen ?

I know about these manual :

Configuring a screen scheme

Associating a screen with an issue operation

Within a screen scheme, you can associate each issue operation (create, view, edit) with a single screen. The default option will be used for any issue operations without an associated screen.

  1. Select > Issues.

  2. Under SCREENS, select Screen schemes.

  3. Select Configure next to the relevant screen scheme.

  4. Select Associate an issue operation with a screen.

  5. Select the issue operation (e.g. create, edit, view) and the desired screen.

  6. Select Add

but I don't have an option to Associate a " delete "  operation with a screen. as there are only these options :

Issue OperationScreenActionsDefault

Used for all unmapped operations.

AVA: Scrum Default Issue Screen

Create issueEpic issue screen

Edit issueEpic issue screen

View issueEpic issue screen

and the button " Associate an issue operation with a screen " is inactive

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Валентин Крыжановский and welcome to the Community!

There is no way to add a screen to a delete operation. Create, Edit and View are the only operations you can associate screens to, which represent the fields that are visible to the user when they are manipulating an issue.

When you have the permission to delete an issue, you will always be redirected to a - rather traditional -  "Are you sure?" screen that also displays the warning that this is a very permanent operation. When an issue is deleted, it is really gone for good.

Hope this helps!

A delete screen would not make any sense - screens are for asking people to add or update information on an issue.  But you're about to delete it, so whatever they put in would be deleted along with the issue...
