How to add new value under existing field list

I need to add a new field under an existing Mandatory Field drop down list “Brand” in JIRA Issue.

I am not able to edit the existing field Configuration scheme in order to add the new value.

Please help. Thanks!!

Hi Debankur,

You cannot add fields under fields. And you would not use the Field Configuration to add values to a dropdown. You would do that by editing the Context for the custom field.

Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields

Then search for the field.

Then click on the 3 dot menu to the right and choose Contexts and default values. 

There you can change the values in the list.
