How to add comment on behalf of the other people?

I want to add a comment to a ticket on behalf of a user.

I have a API account with administrator permissions using which I want to add a comment to a ticket on behalf of a user.

Found one feature request ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-35124 but seems to be created in 2013. do we have any updates on this feature ?

@Tushar Wagh You cannot add a comment on behalf of someone else.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
