How to add colour coded tab groups (as per training course)

How do you add these? its in the training and looks super helpful. i cant figure it out!

Hi @白鼠 老 and welcome to the community!
These are epic colors. You create an epic and then at the top left of the screen you'll see a colored box (defaulted to purple). You can click on that colored box and Jira will provide a choice of 14 colors:
