I've created this custom field (selection box)
I would like to see that information as a column in the list overview. See below.
But unfortunately i am not able to select this option to add it to the overview. Is it not possible to use selection box custom fields here? Or what is the solution?
Hi @wesleysingh
I just tried it on my personal site, and for custom fields of types "Select list (multiple choices)" and "Labels" this appears to work. What exact type is your custom field of? You should see the type if you navigate to

@Hannes Obweger - JXL for Jira Unfortunately labels are not working properly. I suppose that a selection box is still the solution. But when i create that custom field it is not visible to add as a column.
When I open your link, i am in a loop and nothing is displayed?

Hi @wesleysingh
hm, interesting - are you an administrator on your site?
Also, do you happen to know if your project is a team-managed or a company-managed project? You should see this in the bottom-left corner of your screen whenever you are "in" your project.
Best,
H

Hi @wesleysingh
just following up on this conversation: I'm still not sure what exactly is going wrong here; I can only assume that the particular custom field type that you are using isn't supported in the list view.
Another thing you could consider is to take a look at the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. In a sense, it has a few things in common with JWM's list view, however JXL comes with many advanced features, and works in (and across!) projects of any types, not just JWM projects. Plus, all built-in custom field types should work as expected!
This is how it looks in action:
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
