How to add a new contributor in a Jira project ?

Hello

As Jira project admin, I have to add a new contributor in this project

I followed on-line doc but when I open project settings in my Jira project there is no People choice in the side bar

Any clue ?

I actually tried, when I open Users and role function, as you can see in the attached file, the person I have to add is not recognize (no matches),

Role is Grey (Administrators) and can't be changed to contributor

Add is Grey as well so non active !

I'm a bit lost

Two comments, I recall Jira is case sensitive for groups, might be the case for users as well. Make sure you type the whole username. If your user doesn't have browse users permissions it won't be suggested unless you type the whole username on that box. After you find the user you will be able to change the role which shows as administrator on the image
