How to add a comment as comment author by Automation Lite for Jira Cloud?

Hi Dear All,

I'm using Automation Lite for Jira Cloud. I'm now making an automation for the system and want to ask you that is it possible to change comment author as real comment author? I put the stages that I will apply as screenshot and all I want to do is to change comment author. It automatically adds the comment as "Automation Lite for Jira Cloud". Thank you in advance for your interest

Hello Batuhan,

I understand that you would like to set the comment author to be the user that triggered the rule instead of the default Automation for JIRA user, Is it correct?

As you can see in the documentation below, rules are always performed as the "Automation Add-on user" and can't be changed in Cloud:

The Codebarrel team have a feature request opened to Implement this functionality in JIRA Cloud version here:

- Allow changing of the rule actor in cloud
