How to add a category to the board eg. to do/in progress/ done

I would like to add category other than the three that are available. How can I do this

The answer depends upon the type of project and board. If you are on Classic project you can go to board settings and add a column then you need one or more statuses to map to the column. If you are using a next-gen you can add a column directly in the board. Can you provide a screenshot of your board?

It is a next - gen board that I am using but there doesn't appear to be anyway of adding a column?
