How to add a banner to the login screen?

I would like to add a banner to the log in screens for Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Crowd and Fisheye/Crucible.

Hi @GD,

You can setup a announcement banner in Jira and confluence application by following these steps,

Configuring an announcement banner
Choose  > System. 
Select User Interface > Announcement banner in the System panel below.
Enter the required text in the Announcement field.
Select the required Visibility Level for the banner.
Click the Set Banner button.
Depending on the visibility level selected, the banner will become visible throughout JIra.

Banner visibility mode
The announcement banner visibility level can be configured to specify to whom the banner will be displayed. There are two modes:

Public — the banner is visible to everyone
Private — the banner is visible to logged-in users only
 

Though there is no such feature available in Bitbucket, Bamboo or Crowd. 

For setting up announcement banner you will need to configure add-on's from atlassian marketplace

A bit late but,...
I've decided to expand my existing app Announcement Banner for Confluence and now is also available on Bitbucket for FREE.

So you can use this app in both Confluence & Bitbucket.
