How to access the timeline for a project

Antoine Jaury August 2, 2021

Hi,

Whatever the project I select in Jira I'm not able to generate the timeline view. Here is the feedback I get from the view:

I checked and stadard issues are used. I didn't find any configuration that helped.

Do you have any idea?

Thanks.

Hey @Antoine Jaury and welcome to the community!

could you maybe share your issue type configuration?

Could you also go to the ... on the top right and click on the "edit issue types"?

The screenshot you show seems good to me.

Here is what I've in the editor:capture.png

In my projects I only use "Task" and "Sub-task"

Could you indulge me and

  • change the "Default issue type"
  • Save
  • try again?

I just changed it to "none", saved, refresh the timeline ... same error :/

I tried "subtask" also.

In the network inspector I've a cancelled request to: https://ps1.pndsn.com/v2/subscribe/...

It seems to be the cause of the problem.

Strange.. I would expect some other error then.

Perhaps it might be best to open an issue with Atlassian support for this one so they can have a look in your instance..
