How to access or Jira Core?

I can not access Jira Core, Whenever I log in, I'm directed to Jira Software.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Jira Software is just additions to Jira Core, so if you have access to Jira Software you also have access to the project templates that Jira Core provides (business oriented templates for process management, simple task management etc).

Here is a good overview what the differences are between Jira Core, Jira Software and Jira Service Desk.

Hello Mikael, thank you for the feedback.

I understand the difference in services, but what is making my job difficult is in project creations. I can only create software projects and not business projects, and this affects my work because I am from the marketing sector.

Are you on Jira Server or Cloud? On Jira Server you should only see six project templates and the ones under the Business category are Jira Core projects

On Jira Cloud you have a lot more templates, but the three templates above should all be available for you, including a couple more that are business oriented. The three Jira Software project templates listed above are also in Cloud, the names are a little different (Scrum, Kanban and Bug Tracking). You get to these templates in Cloud by selecting Classic Project when clicking Create Project and then Change Template, you should then see something like this
