How to access and update the IssueSecurityScheme via rest api?

Hi,

I'm looking a method to get the fetch the IssueSecurity Scheme of the instance - but the case here is to update the scheme via rest api. Probably, adding roles or updating them? I don't see the method allowed yet - experimental or anyone did that ever?
