How can i restore TJH-109 Ticket id mistakenly deleted by my junior resource?

There is no native "recycle bin" for deleted issues, as such deleted Jira work items are removed permanently from the database and cannot be restored directly.

It's only possible to restore a deleted item if you have an existing backup file to import via the steps outlined here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/restore-deleted-work-items-in-jira-cloud-using-local-backup-files/

Allowing work items to be deleted is not recommended, and I would suggest that you look at permissions for who can delete work items to stop this happening in future.

Although atlassian apparently is building a recycle bin . so that would definitely be useful

If the ticket was deleted in Jira, you can try to restore it by asking your site admin (to use a backup). You can also try to contact Atlassian support. Unfortunately, Jira doesn't provide a native restore option for deleted tickets.

To prevent such a situation in the future, I can recommend that you use Issue History for Jira (Work Item History) app from the SaaSJet team. 

Using it, you'll be able to:

• Track the complete ticket change history

• Monitor deleted tickets easily

• Export full historical data in Excel, CSV, or PDF formats

• Restore deleted tickets if needed 

By activating the "Keep deleted work items" option in the app, deleted tickets remain visible in the report and can be reviewed and restored in just a few clicks.

It is not possible to restore a deleted work item using native Jira features.
