How to Keep KanBan Complete Cards forever, more than 14 days

I've read Kanban cards will disappear after 14 days on next gen boards? How do we keep them visible as complete for records? Or how do I pull records of complete jobs from Kanban boards if an audit wants to see proof of work completed.

No, they need to drop off a board because otherwise they become clutter and eventually begin to break it.

But, boards are only one view of your issues.  You can search for issues on all sorts of criteria and get a full display in the issue navigator, go via the project reports, get them on to dashboards and so-on.
