Dear All,
Does any one know's how to quickly check JSP version in Centos 7/Linux
I would like to download manual for a particular version.
I have checked the /opt/jira/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/web.xml but nothing
Thanks!
@Lucy Adeke I checked the version of Tomcat (Apache Tomcat/8.5.29) and then mapped it to the JSP version which is 2.3 and the latest version is 2.3 since 2009.
more info here: http://tomcat.apache.org/whichversion.html
But Thanks for the hint!
best regards,
Mo
Hi Moses,
Refer to the compatible Java version for jira. This will guide you on the compatible servlets & JSP SDK Compiler.
Login to Jira --> System info --> Java Version.

Hi Moses,
Did you mean to ask how to check the Java version?
If so type
java -version
In the terminal.
Cheers,
Lucy

@Lucy Adeke Hi, thanks for the reply
No, I meant the jsp(javaserver pages) version (a kind of java servlet) i see it has different versions but i want to know the version my jira server is using so that i can get the manual to understand the syntax for this version.
