I would like to automatically (i.e. once a week) have Jira create and email a report to people. I already have the saved filter and can generate the report manually, does anyone know if i can make Jira refresh and resend this same report? (note: i know you can subscribe to filters but that does not give you a report, it just gives you an updated list of issues. The exact report im interested in is Recently Created Issues Report).
The tool you might like is one I use and swear by; Notification Assistant for Jira. Not only can you use whatever filter or other JQL, you have the option of having the list sent out to be "personalized". For example, if you sent it to the assignee, then each assignee gets only their list of of issues. If you send to more than one human, (assignee and their manager) they get the concat of that where each assignee would get their issues, the manager gets all the issues associated with the assignees.
Also, you have total control over when and how often the email goes out.
That only just scratches the surface of its capabilities but I can't recommend it enough.
Thanks for the recommendation Mike!
@justin romeo I think you mean this https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/recently-created-issues-report-720416046.html right?
Unfortunately we don't support this yet, but we're working on it!

That is one thing I am waiting for on this one. However, I did do a JQL that mimicked that until the Real Thing arrives and it is suiting us fine for the nonce.
All that said, @Boris Berenberg - Atlas Authority and company are quick, responsive, and know where this thing needs to go.
