How is it possible to show stories and tasks on the epics roadmap?

I need to see tasks on the timeline to able to manipulate them the same way as epics. Also, I want to create dependencies between tasks, not only between epics.

Right now I see only epics on the timeline, but the tasks which are in the epics are showed as "to do" (so I see only their statuses).

On the next-gen roadmap, the Date Range is available only for Epics. Currently, it's not possible to show this information for child issues. 

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
