How does the billing of Atlassian Apps work?

Could anyone please tell me, how the billing process works for paid Atlassian apps? Is it through an Atlassian Quote/Invoice?

welcome to the community and thank you for your question.

When installing the app, you will get 30 days of trial usage. After that, the credit card you use for your site will be charged corresponding to the user tier of the product.

As the app you choose is valid for Jira and JSM, it will be billed to the highest number of users. For example:

• you have 10 agents JSM
• and 100 Users Jira

The app will be billed for 100 users.

Billing is done by Atlassian for Apps as well. 

You can ask Atlassian for the quote for App, they also help you with the quote.
