Hello everybody,
I use the new functionality "Parent" but I want to hide "closed" object in the list. For example, to select an epic, in the list I see all epics (even if epic is closed).
Can you tell me how to hide closed epics ?
Hello @Thierry Bouvet
What is the actual status of the Epics that you want to remove? Is it "Done", or does the status have another name?
In my experience only the Epics specifically set to the "Done" status will be hidden from that list, as per https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72576
If you use a different Status value that is still part of the "Done" Status Category, those Epics will show in the list.
I did not find a change request in Atlassian's public backlog about hiding such Epics.
I would advise you to contact Atlassian Support directly to get such a change request opened.
Hello @Trudy Claspill
Status is Done. I see that it's ok if you use the "Parent" field:
But if you will to change directly in the bar at the top of the issue (hierarchy bar), it's not ok, you can see all epics:
So I will create an issue in Attlassian Support.
